
Taylor Hanks

Taylor is a Birmingham born actor, director and poet who is coming up on her seventh year in New York City. She graduated from Pace University and has been working professionally since 2010. She has appeared off Broadway in ‘F— nut Happy New Year’, and directed the off Broadway opening of ‘What If We Never Fell Apart?’. During her time at Pace, she starred in the Italian melodrama ‘To Clothe The Naked’ by Luigi Pirandello (The Three Legged Dog), ‘The Wolves’ by Sarah Delappe (workshop), ‘Dark Of The Moon’ by Howard Richardson (The Schimmel Center *off Broadway), and King Lear by William Shakespeare (Three Legged Dog), as well as worked in voice over and radio in ‘Macbeth’ by William Shakespeare (radio play). She also made her film debut in ‘The Giant’ premiering at TIFF in 2019, ‘Secrets on Sorority Row’ for Lifetime TV, and an upcoming horror project with PhillyBorn Films! Since, she has starred and co-starred in a variety of short films, and horror feature films across the country.

She grew up in the business with two actor parents and sparked her fire for the art with music. She graduated high school from The Alabama School of Fine arts with a degree in Theatre while also studying musical theatre under corporations such as Red Mountain Theatre Company and Broadway Dreams.

Taylor's experience reaches past film and stage, as she has also regularly appeared with Womxn Speak, a femme poetry group in New York city. Her varied performance experience and time in the industry has equipped her with a unique perspective and insight into how to navigate the business while maintaining her artistic integrity and artistry.
